obviously not! Just wanted to know that I will survive and ;you cannot die from lack of sleep. Unless anyone who is more tired than me has already kicked the bucket

erratically to say the least! last night about 4 wakings, the night before only 2 . Last tuesday every 1.5 - 2 hrs . His nap schedule is changing though so maybe that is to blame (she says not really believign it at all). I live in hope that he will learn to lvoe sleep as much as I do

Why is it that on the odd occasion I do get a decent amount of sleep that I still feel really rough? And what is with the other Mums around here - they all look perfect and well rested everyday - I struggle to get a shower every day never mind do hair and makeup?

I'll join in,
pregnancy 3-8 months up every 2 hrs for cramps, min footballer inside me, needing to wee
baby, cried for 2 months
baby slept 12-6 from 4months - 7 months; but had severe illness twice in that time and was up every 2 hrs for 5 nights+
baby woke 2-7 times a night from 7 months to 15 months
baby responded to two weeks of CC and slept a 7-8 hr strech from 15 months - 18 months
baby got ill again and we're back on the waking 2-7 times a night.

Sat: woke 9pm, 12pm, 3am, 4am, 5am
Sun: woke 10pm, 1am, 3.30am, 6.30am
Mon: woke 8pm, 10pm, 1.30am, 3.30am, 5.15am

Trying to do an assignment for uni right now and failing dramaticlaly to make any sense of it - wonder why?

cruisemum1,

everyone has it bad. I was in a very tired and cross mood when I posted it, not trying to 'outrank' anyone here!

(please don't get scared if you read my previuos post - DS has health problems so we've had a very difficult babyhood)

sunnyjim - sorry to hear of your lo's ill health . I started this thread because I feel so sleep deprived that I thought I may be endangering my health. I wanted to hear that fatigue is not terminal! It sure does feel like it may be sometimes. Kind of mars the joys of motherhood when you are walking through a fog of exhaustion. My ds (24 weeks) has taken to waking frequently throughout the night. Some days I feel barely able to function and the feeling of having to drag your tired backside through another day seems unbearable. FEel quite positive today as I am sure it is gonna stop but just somehow makes you feel better when you know someone is more tired than you! Sweet dreams
