Help - still no sleep. Any advice?

DS has never been a great sleeper but now (at 16 weeks) is starting to teethe and it's all going haywire! I've started giving him Calpol or Medised at night as he's too uncomfortable to sleep (and runing a mild temp) but he's still waking every couple of hours and having difficulty settling. He's also starting to get grumpy during the day as well- not screaming, but restless and he needed some more paracetemol this morning as he was crying and hot.

I know there's little I can do about the teeth, but any idea how long this will last? He has a couple of white bumps at the back of his mouth and white lines under the gum where his front incisors are.

Have you tried homeopathic treatments - New Era do tablets that sorted my ds out
This does sound quite miserable for teeth - although I know the amount of fuss gererated varies a lot from child to child - could there be anything else going on - bit of a cold or similar?
I reckon the worst of the teeth winging lasted about 2 weeks for mine ...

Thanks for the responses - have just thought it might be a growth spurt as well. I'm bfing, so going by previous spurts it should settle down in a few days - I hope

Getting 4 months jabs tommorrow (that'll cheer him up) so will have a chat with the HV then.
