DS is now taking only one nap per day and still waking at 5am!!!! Everyone I have asked said that his early waking was down to an early morning nap (he used to sleep at 8:30am for 45 mins). But now he's up until 11am and only sleeps one hour! After over a week he's still waking us at 5am. PLEASE . . . what is the solution?

I'm not sure there is one, tbh. We had this for months and months and just recently he has started to shift towards 6am again. I just got used to going to bed early and taping anything I ever wanted to watch on tv! Unless you want to drop the nap altogether, I'm not sure there a lot you can do. What time is bedtime and how old is ds?

He's almost 13 months and has been doing this since birth! I'm not sure if I should keep shifting the naptime later but a few times when I've tried putting him down at noon, he's overtired. He cries to sleep and wakes screaming after only 30 minutes!! I have a fine balance to walk I guess. Because his nap is so early and so short, he's totally knackered by 6:30pm and will sleep then. Any other thoughts are much appreciated!!! When did yours finally outgrown this nasty habit? When did you put him down for naps and bedtime?
