Can anyone recomend a good bed rail (or home made alternative) for co-sleeping with a newborn?
My bed room is too small for it to go against the wall. I can't help but think that the 'Tomy' style ones with nylon mesh are designed for toddlers rather than newborns, and would be a bit of a hazard with regards to head trapped between nyoln mesh and mattress (and also be too short). Anyone got any other ideas? At the moment, I'm thinking of a DIY solution of making a fixed rail out of two pieces of hardboard screwed together (suspect that's crazy talk though!).
