any experience of chiropracters?

My dd1 aged 4 weeks has colic, and cries from 10.30 after her feed til 5.30 am. I've read everything I can get my hands on about colic, and have tried practically everything. I booked a session of craniosacral osteopathy, but, on the advice of my health visitor, cancelled this and went to see a chiropracter instead. It seemed to work - for 2 days! I'm going back on Tuesday, so face another 2 nights of pounding the hallway, and watching crap tv while my dd sucks my little finger until it's white. I wondered if anybody had had any experience of chiropracters, am I wasting my time? Should I book into the osteopath instead? Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

why did you cancel the osteo? - That would have been my first choice and cranial osteopathy is my first recommendation for unsettled babies -

Try cranial osteopathy, it works really well for exactly this and loads of mums on here will testify to it really offering their dc's relief.

yes - tried both with my 3 week dd as she was v unsettled following a bit of a bad birth experience. did 2 sessions of each - was referred to chiropractor by CS lady - but found the cranio sacral worked wonders - she is now one very chilled baby and the effects were immediate!!
go for it and good luck!

Both can be really good. Maybe I'm a bit biased, but I have a friend who is a paediatric chiropracter, and he can work miracles!! I know several people who have sworn by Cranial osteopathy for colic. All babies are different so worth finding out which one works best for you. Either would probably need a few sessions.
