I've recently changed ds's sleeping routine and am trying to get him to fall asleep without me being in the bed with him. It is going ok, some nights are worse than others. Anyway, I just had to share this conversation I had with him last night (he's three btw). He'd been in bed for about 30 minutes, I'd done rapid return at least 10 times and was sitting on the floor near his bed.
DS:"mummy, I have to tell you something"
me: "what's that?"
DS" I have a problem"
me:"what problem do you have?"
DS:"it's really hard to go to sleep".
(he was asleep five minutes later...)
