question for those with baby hammocks

what do you do about naps? do you move the hammock from one room to another? put them in your/their room in the hammock? do you have one upstairs and one down???
i'm seriously considering something very similar to the amby nest - only prettier - for my new baby after massive sleep probs with the first.
i was planning to use the low level/cheapish wooden framed hammock that you strap them into as a moses basket replacement, but have just been offered a deal on the amby-style. but i'm not sure it will actually do the job i want though as i'd like the baby to nap downstairs and i can't imagine lugging the frame up and down every day. the one i'm looking at comes with a bouncer-style doorway hanger but i don't think we've got any suitable doorways.
so what do you guys do?

I used a normal bouncy chair for naps or put her to bed with the baby monitor on.

I don't know how you would manage with the baby hanging in a doorway. Wouldn't she/he get in the way?

we do actually have a very wide doorway between our downstairs rooms, but it doesn't have a standard doorframe. hmmm might be easiest just to saw a chunk out of that perhaps...
