Duvet for a 21 month old?

I have ordered a (full-size) single bed for dd which arrives at the end of the month. Am now starting to worry that it might be expecting too much of her! What does everyone else think? Also, what sort of duvet can you use for such a small child? Am all anxious at this end so could do with some reassurance / tips! Planning to keep the cot in the room for a while in case it all goes horribly wrong!

bought a small duvet for DS years ago from mothercare. DD , now 14 months uses it happily in her cot, in her own room... no danger of suffocation etc... as she can pull it over and off her head by herself...some mums also use pillows from 1 year old, but i don;t bother.... not so much danger of overheating with older babies as with newborns... maybe something smaller would be better to use with the cot for now....

Learn't from here that they shouldn't have more than a 4.5 tog at that age. If you turn the duvet round on the bed widthways and tuck in both sides it'll help stop her from falling out.
