I have a beautiful happy settled little lady......

She has a fantastic appetite and diet.....a very active approach to play times and is generally a very well behave and placid little thing......

She is the youngest (and last) of 6 siblings.

Having had a fair amount of experience I can confidently say...she has a very stable bedtime routine.....I'm lucky enough to be a stay at home mum......so the routine doesn't change. ...

We have never Co slept. We have never had bottles or comfort blankets etc to fall asleep..... and she has always fallen asleep in her own bed from being awake.we dint let her fall asleep then move her etx.....

Yet......she wakes screaming. ...on average 3-4 times a night...For around 5 months I let her cry it out.......and it's just got worse

So then I spent the following five months going in....reassuring her and going back to bed......

We have even tried waking her in the night as the gp suggested night terrors but to no avail......

I'm seriously at the end of my tether. .....I have had more than 3 straight hours sleep in one go for almost 3 years....and no I'm grumpy and grouchy. ......

Has anyone had the same?
We have been referred for sleep therapy but can take up to a year.....and I don't honestly think I have another year of no sleep left in me :(

Any advice gratefully received x

I read about a boy who had never slept in the daily mail recently - they'd tried everything and eating half a banana a night helped him? www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2555208/Bananas-pyjamas-Boy-3-cured-insomnia-eating-just-half-piece-fruit-bed-night.html

Does she do the same if you've been away or if she's slept over at another house?

Wow......!
Such a simple idea huh......I was always told as a child never to eat a banana at bedtime because it takes too long for the body to digest. ....?

Maybe an old wives tale.....

I am deffo feeding the Lil lady a banana before bed tomorrow!
Thank you for sharing the story :)

to be honest.....If someone told me that standing on my head and reciting every nursery rhyme I know before bed would do the trick. ...I'd likely try that too hahaha
