My son does this, also coming up for 12 months beginning of aug. Still feed at 11:30ish which is fine he's not very big!
Since I've returned to work we are back to new born style sleep crying every 3/4hours I don't feed every time but he takes a while to settle and if we just leave him he cries so hard it's like his head will explode! HV recons it's a form of separation anxiety because eating and sleep is the only things babies can control they often use when a major change takes place in their lives.

Has anything changed for your little one recently?

Hello, no recent changes at all, its driving me
now lol just cant put my finger on it, my eldest daughter who is nearly 6 was a bad sleeper too but i was young wen i had her and didn't have a good routine, she was never very good at going to sleep i would have to comfort her, rock her etc. wen she used to wake a bottle would always settle her off, where as my 12 month old goes to bed awake and settles herself off to sleep, has always had a good routine from day 1 but is much worse x

Have you tried singing to her? I know it sounds silly but a couple of nursery rhymes and a cuddle seems to help my little sleep depriver ;)
Is she maybe learning a skill, walking or something? X

I recorded my voice on tape at one point and played it on repeat in my DD's bedroom - did help with night waking! Anyway, I tried loads of things to help with separation anxiety and calm DD enough for sleep - here's my blog post on it if you're interested best wishes and good luck! mydaughterwontsleep.com/2014/05/31/dealing-with-separation-anxiety/
