He has no self soothing strategies except breast. I can't do the major crying thing but ok to do the sitting next to the cot and slowly moving out of the room. I think still give a comfort feed and put into cot awake?
We are going on holiday at the end of August so if I achieve anything now it will go to pot on holiday as his crying will disturb everyone including older DD.
Would it be a good idea to just put him for his naps into a cot and get him used to that but delay the night time cot until after the holiday? Does this mixed sleep training work or is it all or nothing.
