my 13 month old goes to bed at 8 (is this too late?) but will wake at 3 and won't go back to bed till i bring her in my bed. tried controlled crying, but after an hour i give up, she keeps falling aslepp then waking agin evry 10 minutes for an hour. we have recently moved home and she is teething, but not sure if this is attributable. however come to think of it, it wasn't perfect at old house, but a lot better.

any tips? what time should she be put to bed and wake up? how much napping should she do throughout the day?

her nap times are dependent on what we are doing. if at childminders she naps less, because excited around other children. If out in car or bugy sleeps a lot (motion lulls he rto sleep). if just at home she will sleep for about 2-3 hours throughout the day.

any help would be appreciated. its the 2nd week at new house and now feel like it our bed or no sleep for us

My dd is 14 months. She wakes about 6.30 but willplay and sing until I get her up at 7. She has a three quarter hour nap at around 10am and then 2 hours at 1pm. She has her bath at 6.30pm then straight to bed.

This is the norm but it goes awry if teething or ill etc.

Have you tried pick up put down? Ds has just started being a total arse to get to sleep after being a dream for the first year of his life! I can't do controlled crying, breaks my heart and I worry it upsets him more.

I would say 10-12 hours overnight, so if your dd usually wakes at 6-8 am then 8pm bed is fine...?

He naps for 2-3 hours a day.
