I HATED MIL on night one
we were in the room next door and i wanted to go in there
he was screaming but she was with him al the time talking gently to him........
second night, she didnt have to leave her bed in the same room just told him to lie down. first time he did straight away, second time more unsettled
last night fh did it.....aafew times he stirred but didnt wake
woke at 5 and dh told him to go back to sleep and he did til 6:30

my boobs have been WRECKING as we had a brief nursing strike on day 2 and i though i was getting mastitis,
he hasnt fed in the day since friday though......

he was on nursing strike all day saturday and on the first attempt at saturdays bedtime feed he spat it out
but inthe end he fed and was fine.....
he would normally have an afternoon feed too but has ntot asked for it all weekend........
this is fine too - BUT IT HAS TAKEN ME ALL WEKEend to realise that this is fine
he is 18 months for goodness sake

I was thinking of you this morning (4am [yawn emoticon]!) and wondering if the trend was continuing. Great that it has. And great that DH was part of it too!
