Whyyyy does dd 14mo take so long to go to sleep at night?

DD 14mo, her general routine goes:

6-6:30 wake up
9/9:30 nap (30ish mins)
After lunch about 1pm nap (1-1.5 hours)
7pm in bed.

BUT recently she's taking nearly an hour to go bed at night. She sleeps in a 3 sided cot which is pushed up against my bed, I lie next to her and hold her hand/ she likes to pinch my arm/ neck (dont ask!)

She goes to sleep really quickly for naps so why does she take so long at night?
She seems tired as she rubs her eyes but she shuffles around and just generally doesn't settle for ages (although she stays lying down the whole time which is good!)

any ideas??

I was afraid of that! Trouble is on the way home from dropping my ds off at nursery (so about 9:10am) she was yawning her head off and head was drooping.
I put her down for a nap as soon as I got home and she slept for 40mins.

How long is your bedtime routine? Sleep consultant told me to keep it to. 30 mins or less otherwise they get a second wind. Worked a treat w dd1 - less effective w dd2 sadly!
