i would say teething too, as a first, and try some nurofen for babies before bedtime.
then look at wind/digestion , is he on solids long? does he have regular bowel mvts ?
if he has dropped his day naps can u see why at all?
then when does he wake in morn, and if he sleeps bad in the night does he sleep that wee bit later inthe morn?

Have you started weaning him? Is he hungry when he wakes?

Also, it could be that the warmer weather has put him out of routine with daytime naps? i know my dd has real trouble sleeping if her room is too hot (we use a fan in her room and keep her bling down during the day if its hot outside)

Thanks, computer died so cold not be on here!! I can't see that anything has changed but he is teething!! I have also began to attend job interviews and am beginning to accept I will return to work full time son, could my stress be rubbing off on him! Friends have suggested controlled crying but I really fel he is far too young to understand what that is all about! Painkillers like Nurofen, Calpol, teething gel stop him crying until he is back in his cot! Just feel a bit stuck, was wondering if her could be beginning with seperation anxiety too?? God, this motherhood thing is bloody hard!! Tips welcome, bring em in!!

Sorry, he has been on solids for one month and has at least two bowel movements a day!! I don't thing it is his digestion, but maybe it is, you just never know really do you?

it probably is the teething. my dd was very clingy everytime she cut teeth - and it did disupt the daytime sleep. i found that nurofen seemed to be better for the teething pain - you could also try nelsons teething sachets and bongela on sore gums for instant relief for them too.

after bath time, i used to give dd a farleys rusk with warm milk to help fill her up before bed time - that seemed to help to fill her up for the night!
