My daughter is prone to occasional nightmares. Since she started school shes been sleeping terribly, previously she slept very well ( apart from occasionsl nightmares)

I've put fairy lights up and left them on...but they're too bright.

Pls recommend a night light which is not too bright and doesn't cast shadows (the bad dreams are about shadows) . We tried the plug in ones before and they werent bright enough.

Thanks

DS' Gro clock makes a nice gentle night light (he doesn't like shadows either).

We are had exactly the same problem with our 4 year old DS. I bought a dimmer plug that a big bright bedside light plugs into. We start off pretty bright at bedtime, then we we go to bed I turn it down so it doesn't disturb him during the light. It has banished the monsters in his room Smile
A bit like this

We have this one for DD. The light is very low, but enough for the purpose.

Gro clock here too, has variable light settings, ours is on dimmest and half under the bed and still lights the area round the bed, so can be much brighter when on full. Is blue light. You don't have to use it as a sunrise clock if you don't want to but handy if you do ever want to.

We have a Peppa pig night light/torch for DD. It's been great and the torch feature is great for night time wakening. m.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Toys/Torches/Peppa-Pig-Go-Glow-Light/0099735;jsessionid=52842403506CE102A64B9D093CE39FF9.app26
