Good idea, but only if you go to a Classical Homoeopath who will take the entire case (all symptoms/traits) and give only one dose of the correct remedy. If you need help finding one, let me know and I'll try to help. Don't buy any over-the-counter stuff - real homoeopathy doesn't work that way.
Incidentally, are the sleep problems linked to the hot weather?
Good luck!

I'll ask my homoeopath tomorrow. Have you tried having your little one in bed with you? That can work wonders.

Sorry for the delay, I'm waiting to hear back from my homoeopath.

So sorry, he can't recommend one personally. Look for a classical homoeopath who will take all case details fully (this can take an hour) and then give only one dose of a single remedy. This is very important. Multiple remedies or doses will cloud the picture of what is going on and lead to complications. Once again, good luck!
