Sleep

Waking up with funny high pitched wail.

DD (15m), normally a good sleeper, has started making this high pitched wailing sound a few times a night. Normally it goes quiet after one wail. If she continues for a bit and I go in, she doesn't really seem to be awake. Doesn't really respond to me. If I soothe her a bit and leave she seems fine, until an hour or two later.
Only thing I can think of is that she might be in a bit of pain with her teething and it's enough to unsettle her but not wake her fully. Or dreams?

my dd (13 Months) has been doing the same the last 3 weeks or so. some nights it is every hour and others like last night was just twice. we have stopped going in to her now and we have a musical light that is sound activated that kicks in so even if she does wake up 9 times out of ten she goes back off. we were worried to start off with, and used to go in etc, but couldnt work out what it was. now she even does it in her naps. we still are not sure as at the same time this started she also started getting a rash all over. it comes and goes and we dont know what effects that either!!! we think it is all teeth related. ( thay have a lot to answer to!!!) but i will follow this thread incase anyone else has any ideas.

we dont go in to check, but as i have the monitor next to my head on the bedside table it still wakes me up, but i too get lulled back to sleep by " wiinie the pooh, winnie the pooh, fuzzy little ....."
