DD has always been a bit of a tricky sleeper - takes ages to get her to go to sleep with combination of rocking and stoking etc, but recently she's generally slept through most nights or if woken up, been soothed back in 30 mins or so. If we've been really stuck we have bought her in with us (especially if she is ill). We have done CC as well and that often sorts it out. However, the last few nights she has woken about 11pm and despite a mixture of leaving her, cuddling her, offering her drinks, Caplpol (in case of teething), she refuses to go back to sleep and just stands in the cot crying or calling for us. Excluding a 10 min lull last night, she went from 11pm until we gave in at 3.30am due to exhaustion and we bought her into our bed. This was the same the night before and on Sunday. I have never known CC to not work or for her not to eventually give up (usually after an hour max)! Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any advice? I am lucky that I am working from home today and been able to start later, but I don't think I have the stamina for another dose of it tonight! Thanks
