Have posted a few times about this transition before.
DD is 12mo so I know on the young side to drop a nap but it was taking an hour to go down for pm and we were then having to wake her after only 30/40mins in order to still get her in bed for a reasonable time.
Anyway, took the plunge, 1 nap. Thought it might be longer than the sum of her 2 previous naps but it wasn't. Was only 1hr 15mins as opposed to an average of 2hrs across 2 naps. She coped pretty well today. Didn't seem too tired at any point and went straight to sleep at 6.45pm.
I'm just wondering whether any of you have found, that when babies first transition to 1 nap, it takes a while for your them to start sleeping longer for that? Or was it staright away for yours?

Was 1 nap successful at first? Did it take time?
