self catering skiing with short transfer to Geneva and good creche?!

Anyone got any ideas? Les Gets seems popular but not sure what the garderie les Fripouilles is like.

Samoens.

Large village nursery in the centre of the village. Big new gondola from the village up to the skiing. Plenty of self-catering around the village.

We used the nursery with ds2 last Easter, and are looking at going again this season.

There is self catering in Megeve , which is where i am going at xmas and its only an hour and a quater from Geneva. I am without ds 8yrs and Montessori qualified and police criminal bureau checked so could babysit if necessary. My dp has an apartment in Megeve and knows it very well, so can ask him where all the S/c places are to stay . Let me know...

How was the creche at Samoens? Were there English speaking staff? Did the children go outside at all? Did they have plenty of activities during the day? I'm thinking of going with a 10 month and three year old

The creche at Samoens had no english-speaking staff. They do have outside facilities, but the weather when we were there wasn't good enough for the kids to be outside. Plenty of activities.
Ds2 was 12months when we used them last year and seemed happy enough.

only just saw replies!
don't know Samoens at all - sounds good though.
Our little ones are only 1.5 and 3.5 (hoping the older one will try some skiing).
