Hi Noonar, I've followed your threads re-Saas Fee and wondered if you had a good time?

tbh I'm worried by her silence, as I partly recommended it ... but think she's in the throes of moving house now. Are you planning a trip there ? 2 recent updates on the MN review page were good.

Lizs - I'm still trying to persuade DH to take time off work! We'll probably not go until next season, but I was interested to see how Noonar had got on.

hello !! So relieved pleased you enjoyed it We were over there last week, but staying in Saas Grund, fab fresh snow and sunshine towards end of the week. dh did see both H and G to speak to although I didn't, only to wave to as their electro passed. He could n't very well ask about you specifically though since we only know you by nickname and he'd have felt a prat ! I did manage a hot choccy in No.1 bar though while dh and ds did the Spielboden red. ds can't wait to return there again in summer, to fly across the gorge on the zipline ...

How is the house now ,sounds like a project. Wasn't a probate sale by any chance ?

glad you had fun too, liz.

i do feel bad not to have spoken to you before now, but have been 'off the radar' for the last month, in all areas of my life.

the house is getting there-
but doesnt feel like home just yet. not a probate sale as such, but was inherited by a really nice twenty something guy and his sis a few years ago. its been tennanted and neglected since then, hence the work...

actually, this is the first evening since moving in that i've felt relaxed enough to log on and relax on the sofa. hey, maybe i should start a 'missing my old house' thread-lol!

No worries .

Only mention a probate sale cos my father 's just been executor of one down your way somewhere and its timing was roughly the same. I'm sure it will feel like home soon but know what you mean , things seem unfamiliar and not exactly yours to begin with.

ah, no. the house was not a recent bequest.(is that the right word??)

anyway, good to be back xx
