car seat on transfer

We've booked in a group with 4 babies and now all debating whether car seats are required for the transfer on the coach

we;ve checked with our tour operator and got a somewhat unclear reply which we'll need to check out.

any experience?

If they're under 2 they may not even get allocated a seat and few coaches have 3 point belts to secure a baby seat anyway. It would n't be a requirement in UK.
