Hi can anyone recommend a ski resort/hotel which is child friendly and has good childcare for under 2's. we want to be able to ski but also have a fun time with the kids too. Heard about kinder hotels but put off by reviews re childcare. Have left it very late as have week off in feb and just found it it is the same week as half-term!
Thanks

try crystal-finest club hotel st louis in courcheval, the best holiday i have ever had with kids, went last year ( there is a thread on it somewhere look at ski thread around about end of march 2007) admittedly my dd was older (7) but the childcare of the younger kids in the hotel and older ones to was fab. go look for the thread it raves about all the amazing things they did, and it is ski ski out.

we went to Les Deux Alps when my ds was three yrs and the indoor under 2 yr creche was fab and ski sckool ok but French speaking. so when they are old enough to ski 3-4 yrs put them in English speaking group , so they feel more at home.

we have booked with Snowbizz to go to Puy St Vincent in the southern french alps - their childcare appears very good and flexible and their prices are not too high for half term compared with some other operators. Try google and it will hopefully take you to their website.
