Easter skiing - any recommendations?

Hi All. We have just returned from our first family skiing holiday in Tignes with Esprit and loved it so much that we want to book next year right now!
Before we book the same again, is there anywhere you'd recommend instead? Maybe La Plagne or Coucheval? We are a family of 5; sons will be 10, 8 and 6, competent on blue runs, not keen on walking far to the slopes.
Thank you for any advice

We went to La Plagne 28th March. It was our second ski trip. Went with Crystal. Stayed in Plagne 1800. 5 min walk to the slope/chair lift. I found the 'blues' to be quite tricky in places, almost all of them had a difficult couple of steep bits before you were on what I would expect of a blue and it knocked my confidence a bit. We may go 11 April next year as our kids are off another week when most schools go back but because it's the end of the season we are limited to probably Tignes, Val Thoren, Val d'isere. A good skier in our chalet recommended Alp d'huez as a good beginner place and said no to Courcheval. What did you think of Tignes?

I LOVED our holiday in Tignes, so much so that after a little look around at other options we've now booked again for exactly the same next year : chalet Corniche with Esprit.
I liked the fact that Tignes had such varied skiing including loads of big wide green runs. The town itself isn't pretty, but does have plenty of shops and restaurants etc

Oh thats interesting bigtalk. Plagne only seemed to have one little 'green' and most of the blues were quite tricky in places. I always though Tignes was more intermediate but might have another look at it.

Well, if you're planning on going with Esprit again then you should definitely take a look at their hotel in Courchevel. We've been there twice and would certainly go again (but my kids are too old for Esprit now).

The hotel is on the side of the piste, there will be NO walking! It's easy access to Courchevel 1850, great access to a chairlift that will take you high up the mountain. It's the best situated place we've ever stayed. And of course Courchevel is a fantastic skiing area.

Hotel itself is good, the catering is good and there's enough space for kids to run around.

Courchevel not snow sure at Easter - I agree with Val Thorens or Tignes/Val d'Isere. Went to Val dIsere this year which was quite warm at the end of the season and still had a decent week.
