Not sure if this should be in S&B really, but guess the experts are here Smile

Getting excited about skiing very soon & think have all the ski gear ready.

We are staying in a hotel, but in an annexe which means approx 150m walk to meal (half board) In the morning we'll have our ski gear on, but whats the best thing to do in the evening - or tea time as we have 2 DC.

Thinking nice jumper, jeans....snow boots ? My small DD is worried that she'll be good, but have convinced her hotels & room will be warm. I realise no dresses/skirts, but just thinking about traipsing snow through to the lounges & dining room.
Thanks ! (& don't mock)

Ski places are usually toasty warm. Jeans/leggings and top are what most people wear and snow boots or trainers. Have fun Grin

So is it ok to go into places with snowy boots...? Or do they have lovely doormats that absorb all snow ? Just imagining the 4 of us with our clunky piste bashers snow boots Grin

I've walked from accommodation to restaurants before and always just gone in in my boots. Most places seem to have big rubbery mats at the entrance for you to stamp on to get as much snow off as possible. I'd just wear boots, unless you think you'd be uncomfortably hot in them.
