Ski school for 3.9yo - Val d'Isere

We are off to Val d'Isere next week and it looks like Snow Fun are the only ski school who will take 3yos - but they won't pick up the phone/reply to my emails or online booking form (anyone know whether they are still in operation??). I have the names of a couple of instructors but would really like to get DD1 into group lessons, both because of cost and because I think that would be more fun for her. Can anyone suggest any options I haven't thought of please? I suspect she may be a bit nervous initially so a fun and sympathetic instructor would be great. Thank you...

Have you tried oxygene? Not sure if they take 3yos but dd has skied with them, as have I, and they're lovely. Small groups with an English speaking instructor and only English speaking kids. Dd had 4 in her group last year and 3 the year before, including her.

Thanks! I'd ruled them out as their website says 4yo upwards in Val d'Isere but emailed them anyway today and it turns out they do run a suitable class. It is nearly 2x the price of Snow Fun (€320 for 5 classes Shock) but cheaper than a private instructor and the class size and times are good. Will give Snow Fun one last day to redeem themselves before I sign up with Oxygene.

Yes, they weren't cheap. But they were very good. They also did/do a fab lunchtime child care option. Not sure if they still do. But we paid something like 15 euros a day for lunch for dd.

She was picked up at the end of her lesson by a lovely Aussie girl who then took her for lunch in one of the restaurants. Dd thought it was the best thing ever and it gave us an extra hour so we had time to ski to tignes in the morning without worrying about getting back for 12.

Ooh - that does sound great, but we will have numerous non-skiing rellies on hand to help with pick-ups fortunately

Thank you - have now booked with oxygene. Apparently snow fun are no longer doing group lessons. Contrary to their website...
