arc 1950 is the best for ski in ski out, ski through the village so you will have no problem getting to/from the Cariboo. Buildings "Auberge", "Sources de Marie" and "The Manoir" will be most convenient for you but anywhere else will also be good.
Our children are much older now but this is the place you want to be for their introduction and you enjoying your skiing.
I have a vested interest as we are apartment owners who leaseback to Radisson/ Pierre et Vacances but truly find Arc 1950 to be the place!

My good friend had a place there. Pros she says are - ski in / out, good child care at Caribou, massive ski area, well designed resort. Cons - expensive parking, cold jacuzzi, limited ski hire shops (maybe cheaper to hire down in Bourg.) A couple of the restaurants she says are very average (particularly the Mexican one).

Hi All

I stayed in 1950 Prince des Cimes last year and used an excellent ski rental service called Rental Republic, we booked online ahead of arrival and they delivered and fitted our equipment in the hotel which was easy and convenient, especially with the kids as we didn't need to drag them to the ski shop!! They collected the equipment at the end of the week and my husband even swapped to snowboarding for a day free of charge (although he had a rather bruised behind the following day!)

I have just made a booking for this year using a discount code Oktoberski12. The website is //www.rentalrepublic.co.uk

See you on the slopes!
