Has this one been deleted?

Or am I looking in the wrong place?

I think it must have been deleted. It's gone from my "I'm on". She had posted too often and too inconsistently under different names.

AnyFucker · 23/06/2009 20:59

it must have been pulled

good riddance

bloody awful to try and jerk peoples strings about such a subject

horrible subtext of implied abuse too

Was only as i was doing school run this pm and ruminating on it that i began to wonder if it was that same poster.

Very sad especially as some people were sharing very personal and sensitive information.

ISTR another recent post about a woman whose about-to-move-in partner did everything for his daughter. Is this the same person? Has that one been deleted too? Couldn't find it (prior to this one being zapped).

Hello. Yes, the thread was deleted. And yes, it does indeed look like the OP was a troll.

There seems to be somebody with a fetish for urinating, with all this bed wetting and weeing threads we have seen lately....

QuintessentialShadow · 23/06/2009 22:54

There has never been so much "piss talk" on mn as it has the last few weeks....

This has been a bit of an eye opener for me. It's hard to believe there are people who get off on talking about abuse, and that they are doing it on parenting sites to unsuspecting people. I feel quite sick.

I was wondering what had happened to that thread. I'm sorry I was right about the OP - what a sick fucker

fedup, you were trying to help and had no real reason to think your awful experiences were going to be potentially used to give some sick fucker their kicks

that trollery really was the lowest of the low, even giving trolls a bad name

And this one last week's
mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=_chat&threadid=775819-My-DH-thinks-I-am-disgusting-i-39-m-so#15851767

from the poster who wonders if the fact that her daughter is called Marbella is a trifle chavvy (one of the other children is supposedly called Soleil), and wants to name its fifth child Ella Ollerenshaw.

I think there is actually a major difference between the sort of Op on the thread first mentioned (with the bedwetting teen) and the ones about adults wetting (and shitting) themselves in public - at least in the terms of other posters giving sensitive personal information.
The first category does/did suggest something disturbing going on (whether that poster was a creepy troll or someone in a very unhealthy situation), the second category is basically adults with a bit of a toilet fetish. Now, while that obviously isn't everyone's, er, cup of tea, people who post about the 'shame' etc and/or 'should I let my DH pee in my ear' type stuff are neither child abusers nor particularly interested in getting sensitive information from other posters. They are more like the sort of tiresome folk who cannot stop dropping the name of their new boyfriend into every sodding conversation.

SomeGuy · 25/06/2009 02:29

It is however a bit tiresome having people making stuff up. There's a difference between "My children are called Cklarah, Marbella and Soleil" and "What do you think of names like Cklarah and Marbella?"

People posting totally fabricated "I pissed myself" posts still have the same end - trying to trick people into thinking that fiction is reality.

Call me naive someguy, I dont think that thread you linked to was necessarily a trolling thread, neither somebody getting their kicks. I think it was probably genuine. The sort of thread I could post, about my curiousity regards to XYZ sexual practice (though urination is not it). The urination fetish threads we have seen here are usually different in tone.

Report
SomeGuy · 25/06/2009 21:44

the second link definitely was. the first perhaps not
