I am signed up to receive all emails and I normally get the weekly round up, but I didn't get this, and it appears I'm not the only one - any ideas why not?

Hi there, we do try send the mail to everyone but some mail services refuse to accept our "bulk" mails, or flag them as spam and put them in a "junk mail" folder. For example, if you have a yahoo.com or yahoo.co.uk email address - they currently bounce most of our mails so if you are signed up with one of their email addresses you might not get them.

By the by, who are the other people who didn't get the mail - you say it seems you are not the only one?

Thanks, Tech.

I thought I hadn't got it, but it had gone straight into my junk email folder, which was odd, as the Mumsnet round up and emails don't usually go there. that's Virgin email we have!

Hi, I put a note on this here. We've changed the "from" address we send from for various reasons.

Also, we have a long-standing issue with Yahoo mail rejecting our newsletter emails. If you are on yahoo mail, you may well not have got it. There's an online copy here.

Nope, nothing here, not in either of my two registered email accounts and not in the spam folder. Gmail and Btinternet in case you are interested Tech.

hello cod, i'm hoping for a life. by the way, you keep asking and i keep failing to reply. Monday is our busiest day now, not tuesday any more.

Whomovedmychocolate, we have you down as someone that doesn't want the newsletter. I'll take the block off. There may still be a problem though, as much btinternet mail is handled by yahoo - who often reject our emails. I don't know the gmail address for your other registration, so can't check it.

TrinityRhino - your mail was rejected for the same reason. It may help if you complain to BT/Yahoo. As I've noted elsewhere, they seem to ignore my emails. They must have us down as spammers to avoid.

But I get everything else Tech I probably did that in my sleep then . Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

I shall have a rant at BT/Yahoo though - I haven't shouted at them for a week and if we all yell.......

Right, have had words. Tech if you could publish here a list of the addresses from whom mumsnet official emails are sent, then we can save them to our online address books for BT/Yahoo (apparently they are unable to cope with our local address books so bounce as soon as they hit). Apparently this will help.

I'm on Yahoo so that's probably the reason. I am mightily confused by the whole thing though, will have to be pathetically female and ask dh to sort it out for me
