Classic threads topic

Many moons ago a Mumsnetter who shall remain nameless (on account of the fact that we've forgotten who it was ) came up with the very bright idea of a classic threads topic, to help preserve the most weird and wonderful of the musings in the Chat topic from the vortex of automated deletion. Well, not only did we think it a top idea, we even managed to distract Tech from his html code for long enough to convince him too...

So we're delighted to introduce, Mumsnet classics, and now all we need is something to put inside it. Let us know if there are any threads (with links please) that you think deserve to be preserved for posterity and we will duly consider their inclusion in our hall of fame. And as an added bonus for newbies and/or the nostalgic amongst you, Morningpaper promises each week to suck out the best bits from a classic thread and to include it in the Talk round up, which if for some extraordinary reason you haven't already, you should of course, sign up for here.
Love,
Mumsnet Towers

Nice one

There are a few mentioned on this thread.

Please don't make me trawl through and find them all individually [pleading emoticon]

ahem....cough....I think I might have mentioned it here.

Is this something I can put on my CV? The last 3 years are looking a bit sparse at the moment.
