Got most of the stuff for their stockings , here. It is not my fault - it's genetic. My Mum shops in the January sales for paper, cards and those dreadful toys that make noises - she, her BIL and my two love them.

I just can't be bothered with the Christmas rush I usually have all my shopping done before the end of October

I have to admit I do hate the stores putting decorations and all up early

It means that the decorations aren't as special. I used to get very excited as a child when all the decorations went up becaues it meant Christmas was soon. Maybe we should boycott stores that put them up early

LOl at least we don't get early decorations online. I suppose that would work. Retailers aren't keen on people buying too much online ( not as many impulse purchases)

I know exactly what you mean littlelapin - Christmas is not the same when it arrives in Tesco in September.

I'm really lucky. We live in a place that is still very seasonal. The shops don't push Christmas until December. Then everything disappears until next year. It is the same with Easter.

It's not even August yet!

HOw organised are some of you? I don't usually start xmas shopping till term has ended. It's all part of feeling christmassy. I can't do that in October, let alone July!
