I know this has been brought to your attention already, but it's been almost a week and nothing has changed- could you please poke Tech again, or explain what the problem is? Thanks.

Yup. It's bugging me.

And it's probably one line of code.

I have no idea how complex it will be to fix, but I really hope they can do it. I keep unconsciously assuming that the most recent poster on the thread has started it, and it's freaking me out to see names I know saying their husband is cross-dressing or whatever. Most distracting.

It is very annoying. I can't understand why this is taking so long to fix.

Me too. It's grating my carrot now.

Any chance this has been sorted out by the fix Tech put in today? Do shout if not and we'll take another look.

Not working here still!

Ok - so mixed reviews Grin

Sounds like it could be a browser issue - what are you guys using?

It's still not working for Zombie either.

She's using Mumsnet New on a laptop. Browser is Firefox.

She's tried clearing the cache, logging out and back in again and turning the laptop off for 10 minutes before re-starting it.

Sad Zombie. Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

Have finally been able to switch it back on! Didn't appear on it's own needed to adjust setting on customise (as one would expect). Firefox on mac.

Oh thank God it's fixed. I thought BeerTricksPotter was complaining about lesbian/bestiality in Dr Who the other day. Was most surprised! Have done a double take at other threads before remembering.

Yes - my setting in Customise had been lost and I needed to go back in to restate it. This time it held and worked fine.

Customise...

Doh!

Ignore Zombie. She blames chemo brain.

yy, exactly. AFAIK it was a problem with the option in customise not sticking after the column had disappeared during work. 'started by' has off as it's default setting snot going to come back without us switching it back on ourselves.

Report
Zucker · 28/08/2014 18:35

Ah ha! It's back after I went and changed it in customise Grin

Phew! Glad to hear it's all back up and running.

It's still not working for me and either I'm being very stupid (probable) or I now don't have anywhere I can customise. Is it under my account? If so, where, because I can't find it Confused.

LatinForTelly · 01/09/2014 14:50

Am on laptop using chrome if that helps.

Report
SpringItOn · 01/09/2014 15:06

Latin, customise is an option at the top, near 'Active' 'I'm on' I'm watching etc, it's not in the 'my account' options.

Couldn't find it myself initially as thought it was in my account.

LatinForTelly · 02/09/2014 10:54

Fab, thanks, SpringItOn, got it now! And it's now working. Smile
