Incredibly annoying noisy video adverts!!

These are new. And annoying. It plays everytime I open a tab - I don't need an announcement everytime I click on mumsnet!

Are these likely to stay? If so I'm unlikely to.

Yup, they are mumsnet video adverts, bumps, births and babies (over there)--->

I'm using google chrome on a chromebook. Thanks for the response and sorry I sounded so grumpy. Didn't sound as bad in my head, though they are annnoying!

Just came here to MOAN LIKE HELL about this ... and discovered that if I mute the damn thing, it stays muted

Looks like YouTube saves your 'muted' setting until you've logged out. Hurrah!

How vexing for you! Just had a chat with our video bods and they say they haven't set an auto play feature on site (though it does on our Youtube page).

I'm on Google chrome too, and it's not autoplaying for me

Anyone else having this problem?

The YouTube autoplay is the culprit. Dunno whether you can stop that, but it's still respecting my mute setting!
