Search all messages

Is it only me who can't get that facility to work? If I want to search a word, eg (don't ask) David Hasselhoff, how much of the page do I have to fill in? Can I just write the word(s) and leave it at that or do I have to know poster's names, dates etc.

I am asking because I haven't been able to do a search using search all messages for months, if not years, if not ever.

So search David Hasselhoff for me and find the thread with that link to his dreadful video please! I think Eidsvold posted it.

Yes thanks it is.

But how on earth do you find it using the search facility? It just doesn't work for me!

top box actually say "Find messages that contain these words in the message"

That is what I did and I consistently get 0 messages found.
