Topic choosing not working in advanced search

I can't seem to choose the topic to search in advanced search - I tick the box and the topics don't appear. Search by time doesn't seem to work for me either.

While we're about it, any chance that the local pages could be at the end of the list? It takes forever to scroll through them all.

Yes, please please please sort the issue with the multiple Local sites in Advanced Search - I've flagged this in the last couple of surveys / censuses, it drives me crazy.
