Anyone else being repeatedly asked to save a file called seg.js from ib.adnxs.com?
I've run a virus scan and it was clean, and this is ONLY happening on mumsnet.
No way I'm downloading anything I didn't directly click on by the way.

I think it may be a virus in the ads.
From what I saw when I Google it.

It sounds like a javascript file. I wouldn't download or install it. Sounds like it's a plugin for an ad, but it could be sneaky malware.

You may want to report your OP asap so that tech sees it!

It seems like the ads are getting worse on here :( I currently have adblocker installed and I usually whitelist mumsnet since so much of their revenue comes from ads, but I had to activate it again when there was a creepy ad which would start playing music about 5 minutes after I'd loaded a page! I was going to deactivate it again but now I've seen this I think I'll hold off.

Malwarebytes I would download and scan pc to see if you have picked up any nasties.I always use adblock so never see any ads.

I'm getting this, too! I did as Chanatan said and it said there was a virus which it's got rid of. Time will tell whether the pop up will stop.

Thanks for the recommendation, Chanatan.

IE, yes, only on MN pages and have been getting it all evening. Had no idea it was linked to an ad, so no clue what ad. Just pops up when changing pages on MN.

Yes I'm getting it too! For days. Only MN. Apparently randomly. It's when I'm on laptop, using IE.
