We've linked to the thread on MN about this issue as a discussion of the day this morning. Personally I think the petition asking for an easier way for Twitter users to report this kind of abuse is a great idea. Obviously Twitter are probably not keen to encourage reports as they like to think of themselves as a platform, not a censor I know, plus they'd need a much bigger mod team! but ultimately if enough users ask for it they'll have to comply. There's talk of boycott which if mnetters are keen for us to join in then of course we shall. Let us know your thoughts...
