Sorry we just went down for a couple of minutes. It was because I'm an idiot.

Regards,
Tech

Yes, Justine et al used to lock him in the shed for long periods of time, serving gin through a cat door.

I suspect that they took turns being locked in with him, but they always denied this hmm

ClaraOswald Sun 05-May-13 22:55:12

I think he ran away to make it harder for hordes of hormonal women deprived of their favourite toy to track him down and hold him hostage.

BrianCoxandTheTempleofDOOM Sun 05-May-13 22:51:08

oh It's the same Tech?

thanks Maryz smile

Maryz Sun 05-May-13 22:43:11

Yes, he has moved to the states.

He still keeps turning Mumsnet off on a regular basis. But he no longer apologises - I suspect he is too afraid of us all to own up these days.

Sorry Zombie sad

Congrats Brian smile

Scared

Hassled Sun 05-May-13 22:27:57

I need to know what Tech has learnt from his idiocy in 2004. Where is he now in the idiot stakes?

He's moved to the States since then, hasn't he?

IamtheZombie Sun 05-May-13 22:26:57

He resurrected a lot of threads that night, AYC. He is now, as they say, history.

Have we gone through a tear in time?

AtYourCervix Sun 05-May-13 22:23:07

What did masterchef say? Why resurect a 9 year old thread? I am intrigued.

BrianCoxandTheTempleofDOOM Sun 05-May-13 22:19:41

sad Zombie.

I wonder if Tech realised he/she was creating a MN time capsule?

AtYourCervix Sun 05-May-13 22:16:47

I was old and knackered then.

Nothing has changed.

Maybe I fell though a wormhole

IamtheZombie Sun 05-May-13 22:16:10

Zombie hopes this doesn't kill the tone of this thread but...

The day this thread was started was the day that she learned that her uncle was critically ill in hospital back in Virginia following the rupture of an abdominal aortic aneurysm. Uncle miraculously went to make a full recovery. But 3 weeks and 2 days after this thread was started Zombie was widowed.

CockyFox Sun 05-May-13 22:16:09

Please let it be 2004 again. I'd be 21 instead of 30.

EggAndBaconUmbrella Sun 05-May-13 22:10:10

I was at uni livin it up!

juneybean Sun 05-May-13 22:08:00

Theselittlelightsofmine Sun 05-May-13 22:04:09

I was still in my 20's back then hmm

BrianCoxandTheTempleofDOOM Sun 05-May-13 21:56:01

this is the thread that keeps giving grin

OliviaMMumsnet (MNHQ) Sun 05-May-13 21:10:31

Even I wasn't here back then.

BrianCoxandTheTempleofDOOM

I had a 5 week old baby when that was posted.

<stares at current 5 week old baby> Spooky!

Aw, that's lovely.

InkleWinkle Sun 05-May-13 19:35:05

I think the day of the original post might have been the day I found out I was pregnant with DD1 smile

BrianCoxandTheTempleofDOOM Sun 05-May-13 19:04:46

I had a 5 week old baby when that was posted.

<stares at current 5 week old baby> Spooky!

Maryz Sun 05-May-13 18:59:05

I was already on mumsnet.

I had three children aged 9, 7 and 5. They were lovely then [nostalgic]

I think I must be old.

EduCated Sun 05-May-13 17:41:56

I was 14 when that was posted. 14 shock

Maryz Thu 02-May-13 16:39:47

I don't want an apology.

I want Tech to grovel grin

What's with masterchef anyway? Is s/he trying to reset my body clock to when I was young(ish) and thin(ish) [hopeful]

PregnantPain Thu 02-May-13 15:13:21

That message was posted before I left secondary school! a year before but still

HelenMumsnet (MNHQ) Thu 02-May-13 15:08:29

DeepRedBetty

Sorry Helen and Tech, my post sounds more grumpy than I meant.

Also I suspect that some of the time that MN is down for me is Talk Talk having useless servers, rather than you being off sick.
