The baby tells me quite emphatically when my mn time is up!

Ha. Clever baby. It took my kids a lot longer than that to realise that mummy wasn't actually 'working'.

It's even worse here, girliefriend - I know I have spent too much time on Mumsnet because whenever anything interesting happens, dh thinks I should post/ask Mumsnet about it!

My dh laughs and says are you STILL on MN!?
And at the weekend over dinner with friends I couldn't remember where I'd heard a very interesting fact about something we were discussing- it was MN! My dh and the rest of the table just laughed when I finally admitted where this information was from!! Smile
(I for the record believe everything I read on hereWink)

When conversations always begin with "I read on mumsnet..."

Report
MmeLindor · 27/03/2013 10:16

oh, yes. My conversations often start with 'I was reading on MN'.

Although a lot now start with 'I was reading on Twitter'

You get abuse from a rude waiter and are actually delighted as you can feel a juicy AIBU thread coming on...
