When using the pound sign

Please please sort out the pound sign. The post goes very strange when one enters the pound sign. How has this glitch been allowed to go on for so long? First world problem

It's really annoying. Does it with accents too so pâté looks funny

It only does it on the app, it also messes up Euros and accents, and ignores Bold.
It's been doing it since the new app version a few months back, we said at the time but were ignored.
Yes, it's annoying.

Yes i use the app to read and post on Mumsnet. The old app was better. The smileys were better. Some of the posts look very strange. it's taking a very long time to fix Olivia, Helen etc.

Ah thanks- on the app which one is it? There are 6 on the app reading from left to right. 1) Smiling. 2) Happy. 3) ? 4) ? 5) Sad. 6) ?

You can scroll along just put your finger on a smiley fave and move it along to the right

I've given up and just use the mobile site, the app is hopeless.

HQ have been promising to fix the App for months, it's a bit like waiting for DD2 to put her washing away....

Thanks Spottyteackes but i still can't make out which emocion is which as they are so small on my iphone. Theones they had before were so much clearer...if it ain't broke why fix it??? And the pound sign is a joke. Hope Mumsnet hasn't paid the app designers yet till everything is fixed!!!
