Can you unreport a post you reported by mistake?

I keep pressing Report by accident (iPhone and trigger-happy fingers are not a good combination).

Can I unreport a post just as easily?

Not really - unless you report it again saying "sorry, that last report was a mistake".

But, TBH, I guess this happens fairly frequently and MNHQ are used to it - after all, they've only got to read what you've reported to see whether it's a dodgy post or not, although I suppose it's a bit time consuming for them.

Presumably you are just sending blank reports when you do this?

You might want to confirm on this thread/by email that they can ignore any blank, non-spam reports from you!

If you press report then go to the next page and put in the reason and hit report again, its hardly a mistake.

Hi Curly,

No, you can't unreports as such but do feel free to report again with an opps, mistaken report in the info field. Or just leave and we might mail you saying 'Did you mean to report this?'

It happens here and there but not tonnes, we won't be annoyed [calm and peaceful] Grin

That's good to know. Have never intentionally reported a post so didn't know it takes you to another page where you put the reason. Seems that Maybe my keyboard-bashing is not as inaccurate as I thought, then, seeing as I haven't ever seen said type of page!

I've accidentally pressed on report post before and it does take you to a reason page.
sometimes I've hit report and it's highlighted but not gone to the reason page :)
