Uploading photo from iPad

Hi. I've managed to successfully upload one photo to my profile using my ipad. However whenever I try to add a second photo, it replaces the first photo with two, upside-down versions of the new picture.
Any ideas why or how I can fix it? I'm adding existing photos stored on my ipad that I've taken, not images off the net or elsewhere.
