Keep getting logged out - any idea what's going on?

I don't know if this is MN or my computer (being a luddite).

I keep getting logged out. Just now I've tried several times to comment on an AIBU thread, and each time I click on it, it logs me out. I log back in, and it logs me out as soon as I click on the thread.

I did tick the 'keep me logged in' box.

Any ideas? Confused

Oo er, is this still happening to you, LRD?

It is. FWIW, it happens on this thread, for example: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/1656466-To-say-I-love-you-all

As soon as I click on it it logs me out. It's really odd.

Oh dear. Def working from this end

What browser and device are you using?

Mac laptop with Safari.

But don't worry - if it's working from your end, that helps. I'll get DH onto it when I come home (she says, acting as an excellent feminist role model, honest).

Thank you.

You don't have a man of your own? Shock

Dear me. I thought that was what Tech was for.

Confused

Ok, this is going to make you piss yourself if I'm talking shite, but aren't apps things for fancy phones and so on? I'm on a laptop.

My preferred level of technology is carrier pigeons or lighting bonfires on top of tall hills to signal danger, so this is all a bit beyond me.

The newer Macs have Apps. It's all very confusing.

I don't think it's a very new Mac.

I shall rely on the wisdom of DH and his manly knowledge.

Actually, it's just because he works with computers.

Has your manly man managed to shed any light on the problem LRD?

He has! It's all sorted. Though, I've still no idea what was wrong.

Ah well.

Best go off and bake cupcakes.

Thanks for trying to help, KateS and Helen. Smile

Arghhhhhhh it's happening to me too and driving me bonkers - some threads are ok and others say I have to log in and then it won't let me!
