iPhone app problems

Since the recent app update, when scrolling through Active Threads, there are many which are duplicated.

There are also threads which as soon as I click on, the app closes (the Hugh Grant one for example). Doesn't matter how many times I close and re-open the app, same threads cause it to crash.


Anyone else having these problems?

Any ideas when it will be fixed?

I'm having the same issues since the app update its really frustrating wish mumsnet would sort it

Yes I really don't like it. I'd rather they just put the old app back on until it's sorted.

I'm having the same problems, lots of duplicate threads, some threads I'm watching not updating on the app but new posts on the website, and some threads causing the app to crash, even after redownloading the app and restarting my iPhone.

Yes to all those plus when typing a post the last two letters of the first line, disappears under the purple 'i' box.

The duplicate threads seems to be because it throws you back to the top of the list of threads. Look at the progress bar on the right hand side when it does it and you'll see it's back to the top.

Also - keep getting no threads coming up in TIO - just a sad face icon. Takes a couple of refreshes to show them.
And sometimes when I try to flip a thread, it will show 'null replies'. Again, have to refresh or close down app and restart.

TBF, if it weren't for boredom during night feeds ATM these issues would stop me coming on the site as much.

Please, please fix this. Ant long thread completely crashes the app on both iPhone and iPad. It's driving me scatty and I'd like to read the Hugh Grant thread.

When you do a search, the app doesn't let you navigate to individual posts (the page is always blank) although you can navigate to the beginning of the thread.

Apostrophes come out as "´" which is REALLY annoying and makes posts incredibly difficult to read.

And I updated the app this afternoon!

When someone puts money into a thread it is coming out funny. Very annoying on the Christmas bargain threads. I'll give it a try but not sure what's going to happen for ten pounds £10

Gah, the cursed app. We're so sorry about these problems, afraid it's not just you having them, there are a few bugs that we're still working on.

Tech is aware, and we're working on a solution. Sorry for the frustration in the meantime.
