Preferences e.g. CAT communications from mumsnet

I've just attempted to CAT Marina re knitting and found that my preferences had been reset to NOT allow people to CAT me but to allow all the other newsletters etc to come to me. I'm sure everything used to be the other way round, since I don't normally receive communications from mumsnet.

Also like others I've been finding I'm not logged in when I arrive at the site. Are these things connected?
