some parties try to one-upmanship the one before

but all, at the heart of it, are the same

Don't think a 40th or 50th birthday party is quite the same as a 1 year old's party though is it Twiglett .

The topic is also for congratulations and anything celebratory. So if your bestest MN buddy had a birthday you could post and wish her a happy b'day in this topic.

That was the idea when it was mooted a few weeks back anyway.
