I have a printer problem.........HELP.

We bought this computer from a friend and have no trouble with it untill now. The printer inks ran out and so when we bought new ones DH re-filled them and had to hope for the best as we have no manual.

We have a xerox printer and have no idea how to clean it or anything in case it is blocked. The black ink works but not the colours. Can anyone help.

Oh, asked friend and she has no idea as she never replaced the ink. She also no longer has the manual.
