I just don't understand why everyone is getting so upset. Of course breastfeeding should be promoted and encouraged but for lots of women, bottle feeding is better, for many reasons, and they need formula. Campaign to increase the profile of the NCT, or La Leche, or breastfeeding counsellors but I thin it's naive to expect formula companies not to promote their product. The lack of breastfeeding has far more to do with our education and culture then formula adverts.

It's not an argument, T'ache, it's a legitimate discussion...only the people wringing their hands and saying 'oh no not again' are getting upset....don't react! I was interested to see milkymouths link.

right, so you can advertise follow-on but by showing the whole range they sneak in the formula too.
