Can anyone help me?

I made an order through Mumsnet to Blooming Marvellous. I used the code given by Mumsnet but no discount.
I waited until the clothes arrived with the invoice, still no discount.
What am I doing wrong please?

It could be the auto time limit set on the code has gone past and Blooming marvellous are unaware, email or telephobne them and i imagine they will refund you the discount...alternatively it may have been applied manually but not appeared in the invoice...

Hi there,
If you write to us at [email protected], with details of the order, we'll get in touch with them to find out a) why you didn't get the discount in the first place and b)organise for you to be refunded.

I hate Blooming Marvellous, their customer service is the worst I have come across with. I needed to return a blouse which was not as good quality as it looked in the photograph and at £50, was not exactly a bargain. I have to ring them several times and finally, when they pick up the phone they asked me to send the blouse for a retun including a letter saying that I was returning it, I did so and never heard anything else from them or my £50, after some time I just given up ringing them.

Chandra, I am surprised by that. I had to return a faulty item to them last year. They sent me an envelope to return it in (postage paid) and a replacement straight away (and no, I don't have any connection to them before anyone asks!).

Call it bad luck but it did happen. It was almost three years ago, perhaps they have improved since then? not that I would give them another chance though...

Can't speak for the mail order but their customer service in the Chester shop is great - they always used to coo over dses when we went in, and when you bear in mind the amount of cute babies they see each day it really must take some doing.

Chandra I believe you, I am just surprised given the response I received! I am not surprised you didn't buy from them again - that is appalling.

I did follow this up and never got my discount. I notice Mumsnet no longer seem to have a code for them.It would have been a little over £6.

So as I am looking at the catalogue now, shall I buy form them again or not?

I also had problems with the discount but phoned them up and got them to credit it back to my card. They were quite helpful although three years ago when I was pg with dd I found their customer service worse than useless, so they have improved .

Sorry folks. I did get in touch with members who wrote in and said they were having difficulties but I should have responded to this on the board also.

Mumsnet members are still entitled to the discount. I spoke with several people at Blooming Marvellous, including a tech guy who assured me that the code is still valid. I know there was a problem with some of the sales staff being unaware of the discount for orders made over the phone, but this should have been resolved now.
Click here for details on how to get the discount - and do let us know if you have any further problems either on the board or better still, write to us at [email protected]

Mrsdoolittle, I did pass your details on to someone at Bloomingmarvellous, who said they would contact you. Would you mind emailing me at [email protected] to let me know what happened and I'll chase again.

Can I just say that I used the discount and it worked for me.

I also emailed them when one of their "sale" items arrived with the price printed on the back of it...it was cheaper than the sale price. So I let them know and they refunded the difference that day.

Okay. I have just phoned cunstomer service and I have to say they were very helpful.
Apparently we are only entitled to one discount each. Fine, so as this last order came to more than my previous order my discount is slightly more than it would have been. So I am pleased.
Thank you Rachel.

Actually with my previous pregnancy I bought maternity wear form Jojo maman bebe and I have to say that I prefer the quality of the stuff I have recieved form Blooming Marvellous.

I'm sorry MrsDoolittle, there's still confusion here. The discount is not 'once only' - you can use it on as many orders as you like. I have informed our contact at BM who will hopefully clear this matter up with the sales staff. If you could send over your email address/contact no. I'll pass it on to them and they can organise for the discount to be taken from your second order.

Sorry again for this confusion. Please do let mek now if anyone else has - or has had any problems.

Cheers, Rachel
